The River Cats play in West Sacramento, which still startles people who assume everything interesting happens across the river. Support works the same way. The useful part does not have to come from downtown — and it definitely does not have to come from offshore.
Port, park, and the offices in between
West Sacramento does logistics, government-adjacent work, and a lot of companies that got tired of Sacramento rents. We support those teams remotely: laptops on the levee side of the river, servers in a closet, staff who bounce between the office and home without announcing it to IT.
Our shop is in Woodland. The 916 still rings a person. We will not make you explain, again, that West Sac is its own city.
